My process for this project was highly documented in a formal process book because of the nature of the independent study. You can view this process book in the document above.

        As a part of the Honors College at my university, I undertook this project as my Honors Contract, a way of pursuing my own interests in an area that isn't a major focus in my program. The process book is also meant to be a way for other students in my program to learn about Maya's Arnold lights and rendering process.

Update:

        In July 2018, I went back and revised some of the scene's textural elements. These revisions include the wood grain in the floor, the wood grain in the table, the fabric texture of the couches, and the texture and color of the lamps, among slight other changes.
